How do I apply BudClips?

BudClips sleek pin design allows for multiple applications! If you have used other LST clips before, you are familiar with a "standard bend" where you insert the clip at the end of a side branch, opening the canopy of your plant: 

It is important to apply them in veg stage, when the branches are malleable. Before apply, gently massage and bend the branch where you will be adding the BudClips to avoid breaking a branch. 

BudClips should be removed 7-14 days after application. At that point, the bend created by the BudClips is set. Leaving them on longer than 14 days can cause the BudClips to break, which is a design feature preventing damage to the branch. 

Interlocking Feature

The BudClips design allows for a unique ability to interlock with a second clip. This allows growers to training opposite branches on the same node! We call this the "Mainline Split" and it is achieved by applying a BudClip to the main stalk and then interlocking a second BudClip on the same node:
