Should I training my plants during flower?Updated 4 months ago
The short answer is, "No!" By the time your plants reach the flowering stage, their branches have mostly stiffened and become more susceptible to breaking. A break at this stage can be detrimental, as it diverts the plant's energy from bud production to repairing itself—something you want to avoid.
If you've properly trained your plants during the vegetative stage, you shouldn't need to continue training during flowering. However, there is one exception: during the first week of flower, part of the stretch phase, your branches are still flexible enough for some light training. If you choose to apply techniques like using bud clips during this time, be extra careful to avoid damaging your plants.
Remember, the goal during flower is to let your plants focus entirely on producing those beautiful buds.
